WTH: I have strong doubts the USSC will allow this ruling to stand without tampering with it or outright rejecting it based on some rationale pulled out of their Federalist playbook...
Three aspects of this interest me: first, all these "states rights" advocates are about to have a sudden change of heart; second, Clarence Thomas -- whose wife participated in the insurrection -- should recuse himself from this case (but, of course, won't); and third, because of Thomas's refusal to recuse himself, Roberts will watch his court destroy the slim approval and validity it still clings to by its fingertips.
But in any event, the Colorado Supreme Court determined that Trump engaged in an insurrection.
