For those who need the really short version, back in the 1980s or 1990s (the references change, but the appearance seems to be real), Sesame Street had a visiting character, played by Joe Pesci, named Ronald Grump who wanted to build a tower on Sesame Street.

Horrible people at PBS! Monsters! Scum!

And we never had transvestites in this country until the first generation that watched Sesame Street grew up, quite frankly.

You see what these people do to our country. Well that stops now! I’ll tell you that!

Never seen anything like it before, quite frankly.
