Although the only thing I see is another $100B in US investments by Apple, the stock jumped up nearly 6% this morning, nearly 12 points... Can't complain, but I can't see, so far why this big jump. It's also bumped up the markets, but I sure don't see any justifications in what I read so far today...

there was a interesting interweb post along the lines of 'apple has a lot of issues, but peer pressure conversion to capex heavy mag7 member is not one so far, and may be all that is needed to outperform'.

Well, Tim did what he had to do, but it does possibly distract a bit from their AI efforts, so we'll see, eventually...
For today at least, those after hours numbers held, even rose a little, 220.03 +6.76 +(3.17%) so I'm not about to complain...
Current efforts at Apple are to do with all the ins n outs of the next slew of OS updates, hardware is likely already locked in on the iPhone 17 at least, but the OS26 is surely top of the heap, despite the gaming needed to maybe doge this nasty tariffs...

Yes, I agree- up 10% ($300B in cap) over 2 days, seems better than expected! Hope we can hold onto the gains. It is still 15% off its high in the winter.
Leaders like Tim and Jensen are doing a super job at navigating this complicated modern day scene and world. Nice to be passive owners and participate in the upside and without the enormous pressure they carry. I suppose they must thrive on it.
