Haughty White Racist 401K Liberals do *not* want Americans, especially poorer or black Americans to have a CHOICE where they can send their kids to school.
Again with the Schadenfreude. My perception is that a voting block called Southern Baptist type Evangelicals and other racist types don't want their kids growing up with blacks and Latinos in their schools. As a kid growing up in schools populated by military kids, we had representations from a lot of ethnicities. And my neighborhood in Florida seems integrated, it's working class with some Latinos and blacks.
I can't blame parents when they move to a neighborhood for better schools and get upset when the ratings go down due to forced integration, but the private schools aren't any better than the public schools - so what did everyone gain?
Jimmy Carter finally abandoned the Evangelicals. I was out of the states and too young to realize/understand the Civil Rights movement, but I have a vivid recollection of going to a drive in as a kid and seeing the colored entrance sign and seeing the fenced off section in the back. There's hypocrisy on both sides, but it's easy to find hypocrisy where it isn't because of confirmation bias.
You want libs punished and that constitutes winning, but nobody is winning right now. The fact is, the great tell about what has been going on is that wages and taxes have been forced down on the middle and lower classes. Y'all vote against your interests and it's your resentments, your fears, your spite, fanned by politicians who don't serve you. Everybody feels it, but Trump wants to give the rich tax breaks. If you do get a tax break it's not for long, they put a sunset on it, and you'll be happy and cheer!
I'm just crossing my fingers that things don't get too bad. We'll get more bombing, etc.
