A deep-dive using multiple sources on the Russian equipment situation. If western allies continue to support Ukraine, Russia will run out of several key systems within a year. They have been depleting their storage yards at a startling rate. A lot of what remains appears to be unusable. They already have been fielding (and losing) equipment from the 70s, and even older. Some of what remains is WWII era equipment.

Perun warns about some uncertainties, but -in general- it sounds like Russia will be seriously hurting for materiel within 12-14 months. They already are getting some from DPRK, but -evidently- it is wildly inconsistent and unreliable. If Ukraine holds out for those 14 months, Russia may be in a situation where they won't be able to continue demanding terms for possible cease-fire.

If you're interested in this stuff, it's a good video to sit through.
