we dont yet know if this ends in a massive trainwreck, but the atlantic does a frame-by-frame of the near final run of the trump campaign.
some interesting points:
trump campaigners were at perpetual war due to split interests; the newer, more 'professional' crew were in it to scam as much money as possible from trump (they basically wanted their cut of MAGA grift resulting from our wonderful campaign finance laws).
the older crew were in it as before, to secure positions in the new admin (so their effort would not be rewarded unless trump won).
none of this is too surprising, as trump ran his own presidency by sowing internal animosity anyway.
in a minor note, trump abandoned laura loomer NOT for any of a thousand rational reasons, but because he got a closer look at her plastic surgery. somehow also feels predictable.
