Deport the kid with cancer and then let's go to a pro-life rally.
Reps have always been hypocrites on this topic. They are "pro-life" right up until it's born, and then it's "see ya', good luck, kid".
I'm a little surprised, though, that we haven't heard more complaining from the right. While their approach to illegal migrants has been draconian, they always campaigned on illegals. These are legal US residents and US citizens being swept-up.
I had taken them at their word that this was about "illegals". I disagreed with them in some instances (not all), and I am quite convinced that this wasn't/isn't the crisis the RW media made it out to be. But I couldn't argue that someone here illegally shouldn't be deported. But, evidently, that wasn't what this was about. It's about anyone -legal or not- who has immigrated here, or even has a valid visa (e.g. student). There was probably a dog whistle I didn't here (just like when I was young, and I didn't hear the dog whistles the Reagan was blowing).
That'll teach me to give MAGA the benefit of the doubt. Won't happen again.
