Trumpedo, Vance, Rubio et al have bragged about how tough they are and how they killed those 11 suspected drug runners to protect America from an "imminent threat." Turns out the boat had turned around and was in retreat.

The new details are likely to intensify scrutiny of the Trump administration's claim that destroying the vessel -- rather than attempting to interdict it -- was justified because it presented an "imminent threat" to the U.S. Administration officials have argued that the president has the power to order military action against imminent threats to the U.S. without congressional authorization.

Oh, look, another example of the administration lying its ass off.
