The national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.15 -- I paid $3.39 yesterday at a Costco in Illinois. The national average price for a pound of bacon is $7.11. The national average price for a dozen eggs peaked in March at $6.23. I bought coffee beans from Costco a couple of months ago fo $35 for a 2 lb 2-pack. Today it's $55.
And that's with importers eating most of the tariff increases, which will kick-in at the consumer level by the end of the year and into next year.
