Brandon is clever - he is sort of the gigachad of the gun tuber/gamer bro types of today. Smarmy and clever, pushes the right buttons.

He's probably going to win his race, so just accept that now. What I would tell Brandon is this is a real job, and what are you going to do when all of the sudden you can't just be cool guy on YT good for making dopamine hits for your millions of followers.

Brandon has no real life experience that relates to leadership or governance. Some of the other types like him had a LE career, a military career...some instincts on what to do (and of course Hegseth should have had some of this but clearly does not or has forsaken the sense of the MacArthurian "duty, honor, country" for being a boot licking toadie). He has none of these. This isn't a lark.
