The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

Fellow DLTR investors, the ones who invested last year and now have an appreciable short term gain, do we pull out our original stake and leave the gains in place or do we continue to hold the whole enchilada as a multi-year investment?

I usually buy and hold forever. I bought DLTR back in September of 2021 when it was cheap and should have sold it a year later when it had doubled. I rode the 2021 investment up the valuation elevator and all the way back down in 2024.

What are my fellow DLTR compatriots doing?
