Amid swathes of criticism and calls for him to resign from his role as FIFA president, Gianni Infantino has now received public backing from a familiar friend in US President Donald Trump.
With the walls seemingly closing in on Infantino, Trump posted a message on Truth Social Monday night in support of the beleaguered leader.

FIFA apparently makes plenty of profit, but, it is felt, it could make a lot more MONEY, hence Infantino hatched a plan to sell shares in FIFA spectacles. There seems to be some pushback, by those who still hold some sort of respect for the integrity of "sport", vs the only consideration being how much MONEY can be made off it.
