All those countries issue an ID to all citizens when they turn 18 or so. So voter ID is a non-issue. If the U.S. automatically issued such IDs it would become a non-issue too. But the current proposal for voter ID clearly is meant to suppress the voting in a manner that would favor one party over the other, as the pedopresident repeatedly asserts. It does nothing to ensure election integrity, because non-citizen voting is practically non-existent. No one in their right mind would vote illegally at the risk of getting arrested, imprisoned, and deported.
