"There is a theory that we have three political parties. MAGA, which, if you strip out the racism and religious fanaticism, wants to do what it sees as in the best interests of We The People. The DSA, which wants to do what it sees as in the best interests of We The People. Then the huge pile of muck in the center, some call themselves Dems, some call themselves Repubs, but they all sell We The People out to anyone willing to pay."
That is a dumb theory.
It just ignores the fact that there are huge differences between center democrats and center Republicans. Just because the people espousing that theory choose to remain ignorant of that fact doesn't help the credibility of the theory.
