I dont claim to speak for others as the voter bloc I belong to isn't Sheeple, in that we're allowed individual thoughts and we're not scared to express them.
As someone who (as usual) was ahead of the game and saying positive things about Mayor Pete on TMF well BEFORE his candidacy I can say that there's an 85% chance I'd have voted for him over Trump. Had he divorced from the he/him militant bullying i can say i'd 100% have voted for Mayor Pete beause i believe there's decency there and while there's less experience then I'd like, as Obama showed us - decency and intellectual curiosity and good thought process can make up for experience.
And yes, I made multiple BUTT jokes and I still would if he was President ---it's just too perfect and on a silver platter.
Furthermore, while I would probably disagree with a slightr majority of his stances, I also like that he isn't exclusively from the coasts. He's spent a bit of time in the other part of America, and at least he has *some* understanding of Americans.
As someone who came to Shrewd openly "Nbt gonna vote" and then went Trump basedo n the Sheeple 401K behavior, AND he/him bullying..as someone wh has openly praised Democrats by name I am not writing this out of political expediency.
Put it this way......
If Mayor Pete ran today and wasn't too militant about he/him ideology.....I'd EASILY vote for him over JD Vance. EASILY.
So when it comes to DEI.....it D-I-E-D with your campaign when you passed up who you see as the "gay guy"
I really would've happily voted Joe Biden (again) or Mayor Pete. I'd give contributed and voted for Governor Beshear. I'd have kissed Rahm Emanuel's butt on Times Square and let my daughter see the video of it if he could've been President.
Maybe i'll have that chance in 2028.
