Straw man. My view hasn't changed at all. I've studied parts of crime in different countries. The forensic science shows don't show that a lot of crimes are solved by shoe leather. You walk around and talk to people and if they cooperate, that helps you solve the crime. So if you've scared all of the immigrants, legal or not, they'll avoid you and won't cooperate. Your ability to solve crimes plummets.

As I've said before Duterte became President of PI, the murder rate was 9.5% per 100k, when his antidrug plan was in effect it went up to 11.5%. And the murder solution rate was ~ 21.5% and dropped. Guess why it was 21.5%.

Go ahead, compel away, deport all the criminals, but be humane in the process. Mistakes will happen, but let's not create inhuman conditions.
