Because you can't root for killing babies left and right and call yourself a Christian. It's rather clearly stated in places like Catholicism, for one.
You must have missed the standard I set- the life and teachings of Jesus himself, not his interpreters.
It’s all there as found in the four gospels- Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Show me where he says a word about abortion.
Or homosexuality for that matter.
Lots about grace and mercy. Lots about love and being hospitable to strangers.
But not a word about abortion.
