As mentioned, the Navy typically names ships for the deceased, but not always.

It’s all very likely a red herring.
The Doris Miller, renamed for Trump, is expected to be launched in 2034, by which time he’ll be dead I hope.
The Clinton might be launched in 2038, and the G W Bush in 2042.
What’s the chance of any of them being alive by then?
