I have a flatbed scanner that works fine but I have a lot of photographs I'd like to scan.

Is there a faster way to get them done?

I've seen places charging ~$100-125 to scan 300 photos. I know you could scan multiple photos on the flatbed scanner and then use software to break them up (haven't tested the software). I could buy a new and more expensive sheet feeding scanner like the ScanSnap from Fujitsu.

Just curious if anyone has done this and what ended up being a reasonable solution? My guess is spend the money and get it done by someone else.

Thanks
Rich
