LurkerMom: President Trump was not found guilty of rape and he was not criminally charged with rape. Trump was charged with battery and Ms. Carroll collected her five million dollars and happily went on her merry way celebrating and spending her bag of money.

In 2023, a jury found Trumpedo liable for sexual abuse, but not for rape under the narrow legal definition used in New York at the time. Later, the presiding judge affirmed that the jury's finding of sexual abuse was, for all practical purposes and by the common definition of the word, a finding that Trump had committed rape.

New York expanded its definition of rape in 2024 with the signing of the "Rape is Rape Act" by Governor Kathy Hochul in January 2024, which went into effect on September 1, 2024. The change, also known as S.3161/A.3340, redefined rape to include non-consensual vaginal, oral, and anal contact, removing the previous requirement of penetration.

So, yeah, Trumpedo raped Carroll.
