Andy Weir is the author of some novels, including "The Martian"
and "Project Hail Mary". Both of which I liked.

He also wrote a short story called "The Egg", which is about 2 pages long,
and posted on Andy Weir's website.

God (of a sort) makes an appearance in the story. As an atheist, I liked
the god in Andy Weir's short story a lot better than the usual Christian god.
Hence this post on the Athiest board.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Reading it made me want to be kind to strangers.
