“ Berkshire purchased about five million shares of Sirius XM for around $113 million, taking advantage of the recent drop in the stock of the satellite radio company. Sirius stock fell 4.3% Thursday to $20.58 after hitting a new 52-week low. It is down more than 60% this year.”

Isn't it a classic newbie error to buy a stock at a new low, thinking that is has nowhere to go buy up?
