If it was Harris that was responsible for and overseeing the border, why did the GOP spend all that time trying to impeach Mayorkas over the border problems? Why not Harris, if she was the one that was really in charge of the border?

Very excellent point! BTW, even Mitch McConnell was just on the Senate floor this morning repeating the lie that Kamala was in charge of the Biden administration's "failed border policy". The last remaining scintilla of any respect I had for Mitch is gone.
