You mean waiting for a Supreme Court case that renders illegal immigration to a state's thing? That's not going to happen. Let's set this non-sequitur aside until some blue state secedes from the Union and gets to make its own immigration laws. That's when this point will be relevant.

demcorats have a history of "Give me amnesty today, and I'll consider border security tomorrow". Over and over.

Well, now we have border security. Had the democrats not been so duplicitous and so contemptuous of real concerns from real people Trump might not have ever been elected in the first place (and when you want to doubt this, I'll refer to the first set of stuff Trump said when coming down the escalator in Trump Tower).

I've cited how Trump in his first term wanted to give the democrats the Dreamers but that wasn't enough for the democrats. That's yet another fact that the left on this board just ignores like everything else.

And none of these "everyone knows" absolves the left here of not even wanting to go on record with a single proposal, not in this the safest of safe spaces.
