In Toronto now and went into a very high end ALO in the toniest of shopping streets. Same vibe as LULU and less welcoming than Athleta, who is more than happy to take my money. Continue to be super disappointed in my search for clothes with zippered pockets for women. A great pair of men's shorts had multiple zippers, of course, but none for the little ladies. And the shorts were around CAD $250! Athleta continues to be my favorite of the three, unless you consider the Costcos in Canada that offer knock offs. Picked up another couple of great pants with zippered pockets for CAD$20 each, full price. Nice enough for just about anything short of formal wear. The LULU-like skorts I picked up at Costco in Montreal last year are holding up beautifully, and I wear them constantly. At 1/5th the price of LULU, I am willing to tolerate some wear, but not actually seeing any. Still loving the LULU running pants that I picked up at half price sale. They were still twice what they should have been, but either I spend it or it goes to the kids. Too bad they don't make my demographic feel more welcome.
