one may be interested in knowing major capital equipment sales in america are frequently accompanied by pieces, or a full blown biz plan by the vendor...especially if requested.
every week there are RFPs for not just one, but ~dozen bundle (CTs+MRIs+...) from a healthcare system or coalition. use your imagination for what else may get thrown in for deals of that size.
this probably took much work, but now the utter bullshi+ biz plan can be customized and concocted by AI.
and of course, underutilized and unprofitable equipment gets depreciated and written off. kills any incentive to compete on price for the patient, not to mention pricing opacity of such procedures.
