I've posted once or twice about two friends who worked at USA Today and WAPO.

I asked them why, for the love of dog, did the writers pussyfoot around, using euphemisms for liar, lying, lied, lies.

They said they had to be politic. Very disappointing.

Coddling liars only emboldens liars to lie more.
