I'm concerned about the leftward shift among Democrats. I've read the Democratic Socialists of America site,

Neither am I on board with everything, but to me, that's normal. I don't have any real concerns. They are a tiny - about 120,000 in the USA, and they have a deep commitment to Democracy, much more than MAGA. If memory serves, these are the same Democratic Socialists who were advocating for socialism but arrived at by democratic means during the time Marxist revolutionaries were advocating taking up arms. So I don't care how strange the platform looks, they'll only be able to accomplish what they can convince us to vote for because they won't and have no ability to stack the supreme court, gerrymander all the districts, etc., etc. They are perfectly willing to respect being voted out of office, unlike today's MAGA Republicans.
