I'd say that this significantly raises the stakes for the Democrats, if voters aren't persuaded on the health care cuts.

Republicans control the executive branch.
Republicans control the House.
Republicans control the Senate.
Republicans control the SCOTUS.
Republicans would be the people doing the mass firings.

And it’s the Democrat’s fault?

Good luck messaging that.

PS - people are kind of fond of their health care. I suspect people would support politicians who fight to keep their healthcare.
