No, it won't. The WH is public property, and if the President wants to host the WHCD there in the ballroom, they'll put it there.

Is some left wing group going to sue to stop that?

And if Obama had been doing the ballroom, the right would have been suing him eight ways from Sunday and screaming about how he was violating the Constitution.

Only if the building was ugly. As we can see from his choice of architecture in his Brutalist library in Chicago the man has no flair for building design. Couple that with Obama's Mt. Everest sized ego and he probably would have erected a giant 'O' on the White House grounds taller than the Washington Monument.
