My Facebook feed is filled with pictures of the woman heading up his social media team; I have of course forgotten her name at the moment, but I will say the tactic is brilliant.

It also notes that the team consists of just 3 people, and they use a variety of tactics; the best known so far is to shoot out Tweets (I know, I know) in ALL CAPS as the toddling TiC does talking about how Newsome deserves the Nobel Prize or some other nonsense, ending with “THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER” and similar. Brilliant, and funny too.

Other times they will take a picture of Newsome (well, AI generate a picture) of him handcuffing a masked kidnapper, or maybe puncturing a tire on an ICE van or similar, and caption it with {“So is this how it’s done, MAGA?”)

It’s guerilla media, and it’s funny and attention getting. It sails right over the heads of MAGA, of course but you’re not going to convince them of anything without an AK-47 held on their family anyway, so why not?

It’s definitely creating a buzz for Newsome, which positions him for a Presidential run ahead of all other Democrats for 2028, assuming we get there.
