Despite the tribalization and castes and sects that are now forming in America (not visibly to some, but loudly predicted by this writer a long time ago).....

I firmly still believe that when you strip away the FOX and MSNBC. The Insta this, or Tweet that or Like This or Upvote that or Rec this dont Rec that.....


I continue to feel that while Americans have forgotten about whole other groups of Americans due to self segregation - people are getting more alien to one another as I used to write on TMF ----most Americans want similar things

YES you have a chunk of people - Right and Left who are just plain orthodox. Sheep. Tell them to shit in their own mouth, they'll do it if 'their guy' or their podcaster or whatever said it's good.

But in the end, I'm not sure who DOESN'T want to have more money. A happier life whether its spouses, kids, significant others, or just plain on your own. Maybe a hobby. Maybe some bucket list stuff. Perhaps see a doctor that is good and timely. Be able to retire at a realstic age.

Some of us need millions, some of us are happy with our modest life but in the end, i think most of us ---aspire to similar things we just differ how to get there. Trouble is our selg segregation via socioeconomic trends, COUPLED WITH the media and ratings whores exploiting ALL of us for their own ends---has us somewhat at each other's throats.

Anyhow, as one of the most disliked posters here on TMF --- the few people i met offline - were LIBERALS AND I enjoyed my time with them and still have some good email humorous debates with one in particular as recently as this morning.

So, yeah, again - as one of the most disliked (and proud of it lol) posters here.....*anyone* who finds themselves in Bucks County or close suburbs of Philly, or the Princeton NJ area....i am happy and would jump at a chance to share a burger and a coke and just chat.

10 bucks says we'd both leave the lunch.....feeling waaaaaaaaaay less polarized than when we came in.
