Let's get YOUR facts straight. Trump is the one who negotiated the timeline for withdrawal from Afghanistan. He negotiated that with the Taliban and not with the Afghan government. And he oversaw the first part of the withdrawal, continuing with the reduction in US forces even though the Taliban wasn't living up to their promises.

Biden inherited the timeline from Trump, realized the Trump-negotiated deadline for complete withdrawal on May 1, 2021 was not going to work, but continued on the path to complete withdrawal, as he had promised during his successful campaign for President.

The "cowardly surrender" was entirely of Trump's doing. He's the one who created the mess for Biden to clean up.

I'm not going to say the withdrawal was done well by either man. But it is Trump who started it, signed the initial agreement to withdraw, and failed to hold the Taliban responsible for holding up their end of the lousy bargain.
