Interesting observation about Chick-fil-A and In-N-Out. Seems like yesterday they entered the California market with standalone operations. Well it was 20 years ago, but had a big push to open locations from 2020 on to reach over 200 units. What's interesting is that CFA builds directly across the street from In-N-Out. Both locations seem to do outstanding business. Hungry consumers get chicken or hamburger. In-N-Out moved their headquarters to Tennessee and started building units there. From what I've seem the locations are next to CFA. They both like being next to each other. If Berkshire buys both of the chains it would be a nice pairing. They both sell Coke.
