Steve - what are chances the USA really goes deeper ---ie ground troops in Iran?
Aside from "Trump this, trump that" I'm curious -- do you feel it will happen?
I really can't imagine a ground invasion. The pols, including the MAGA pols, can read polls. Only about 10% of USians favor a large scale invasion. My bet is continued bombing, and bombing, and bombing. Remember how many years the US bombed North Vietnam? With a forever bombing campaign, Congress serves it's Israeli paymasters, without USians hitting the streets in mass numbers.
Meanwhile, if the legislation makes it through Congress, the Israelis will be embedded in the US intelligence apparatus, so everything the US "knows" about the middle east will be what the Israelis feed us.
