I guess we'll...just have to let it play out, won't we?

I'm interested in lowering health care prices by actually having market forces do their thing and am willing to see how this goes.

There are a few states that have adopted laws requiring price transparency for medical providers. I don't know if they've had those rules in place long enough to assess whether they have had any effect on medical prices:
