They should have known better. They're old enough to have known better. I'm early 60s, and my mom got me every shot there was. Because she grew up before many were available. She remembers horrors like polio, knowing several people who were afflicted. Her sister (my aunt) got one of the fevers (scarlet, yellow, another...don't remember now) and her sister was quarantined to the house while mom (and grandpa) had to stay in a hotel for a couple of weeks. Nasty, crippling, lethal bugs. And we suddenly had magic shots to prevent them. You can bet she got me every one of them.
I get stupid young people who have no memory of these afflictions. But people in their late 60s?? Idiots.
