I've been looking at their 2206-Q2 investor presentation. I don't know who their target audience is, perhaps their own in-house marketing dweebs who speak in nothing but buzzwords and unexplained acronyms? It's somewhere between maddening and nauseating.

But there is some useful information that they forgot to obfuscate, for example "net income to shareholders up 10.9%/year in the last 10 years", page 55, and operating income up 11.2%/year.
And a nice 10 year summary of financial results on page 58 of 60, nice job burying the lead.

Trailing P/E ratio around 19.5 is pretty much exactly what it was 7 years ago. Both earnings per share and price up 11.8%/year*. I built a big position around April-July 2025, having been out of it for a few years. This time around I intend to resist the urge to sell the next time the valuation levels get a bit rich.

Jim

* For those interested, Berkshire's book per share is up 12.2%/year in the same 7 years.
