With John Ratcliffe at the CIA, Kash Patel at the FBI, and Bill Pulte as the interim DNI, and the firing of many competent career intelligence experts, this is probably the best chance Iran's ever had. And Trump would deserve it, thereby becoming the ultimate example of his ETTD modus operandi.
But of course, it if does happen, Iran WOULD be mercilessly bombed by MAGA zealots Vance and Hegseth, to "avenge their fearless leader". And then the GOP Congress would rally around their leader too, authorize "whatever funding" it takes, and we'll end up with another Afghanistan, and trillions more added to the debt.
So, as much as I might want Trump gone, it would not be a good result at all if it happened this way.
