the idea that the 2020 election was stolen has moved from the fringes to being a pillar of the Republican party. A January poll from PRRI found that 66% of Republicans believe the 2020 election was stolen.

This. Plus the Republican tendency to not respect the law or Constitution leaves us with a potentially serious problem. They are preparing to throw a monkey wrench into the works. These elements are supported by a large chink of the population. The idea is to throw the elections into the house, and win that way.
