And the europeans are going to feel it:

Anyone under 80 who has spent their life in Europe can be excused for regarding a giant welfare state as the natural way of things… the welfare state as we have known it must retreat… By now, quick-minded readers will have registered what a more militarised, less welfarist continent would evoke: the superpower that is turning from it… Europe and America could end up looking much more like each other." A massive attack on living standards and the welfare state to finance a military build up is coming. Those who are complicit in this, through their support for Ukraine and expansion of NATO, are direct enemies of working class living standards.
