According to the NYT:

Police are looking for a college-age suspect. They found a rifle in a wooded area near the college and:

That evidence includes a palm imprint, a forearm imprint and a “footwear impression.”

They also say they have facial pictures of the suspect and that they are using facial recognition software to identify him. If they can’t, they will release the photo.
