Sounds a lot like Trump...apparently they had people like him 3000 years ago.

I also thought this was good, though I can only find one author attributing it to Sophocles. I find another reference that it may have been Plutarch.

Whoever makes his way into a tyrant's court becomes his slave, although he went there a free man.
