Had Kennedy worn religion on his sleeve he would have been trounced.

"They" said .... "'If Kennedy was elected president, he'd criminalize birth control, he'd cut off foreign aid that helped countries invest in birth control, and he'd funnel tax money to Catholic parochial schools.'"

As it turns out, it's the GOP xtian fundies and vangies returning women to chattelhood.

Remembering the religious right's fight against planned parenthood efforts in rapidly populating regions, I foresaw the migration to the US of that surging human growth. Et, voila! Here they are, here they come and come and come. ... just like baby jeebus ordered. They went forth and multiplied and continue to multiply.
