The Associated Press reported that government prosecutors told a judge that the U.S. plans to deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a country other than El Salvador after he is released from a Tennessee jail.
Abigail Jackson, Deputy Press Secretary at the White House, called the reporting "fake news": Abrego Garcia was returned to the United States to face trial for the egregious charges against him.
