And the veto! Remember, the effort to force the release of the Epstein files is a piece of legislation. Like any piece of legislation, the President can veto it.

Which veto can still be overridden by a 2/3 majority of both the House and Senate. But that's pretty unlikely to happen if it gets that far, unless there's some sort of Watergate level coverup that's discovered.
