Most mornings I drop off DD at school, do my outdoor walk, and do coffee at Dunkin. Usually run an errand or two and I call Wifey who by then is out of bed and about to do tea and we chit chat and maybe spend a few moments on political headlines. Wifey was never into politics like we are here -- but she usually liked Republicans.

She voted Dem in the last local election and is literally volunteering to stuff envelopes for local Dems these days.

Anyhow e were talking, I was stating my thoughts that if the kid situation was different, or if I wasn't unsure of how to establish them professionally - we'd be doing vacations in Chile, Portugal, Thailland and elsewhere for purposes of settling elsewhere. And I was stating how disappointed I am at the stuff going on, and how i thought the scary stuff would not happen under Trump and that it was just rhetoric.

Later in the day Wifey and i talked - decided - no more political talk on the cell phone especially when it's anti Trump or anti MAGA.

Who knows nowadays who is listening.

On other forums - it's been a long long time since i've said bad things about China. A forum or two where my real name is used I stopped criticizing MAGA a short while ago too.

Things are changing.

And i still say - the 2020's are the good ol' days.
