Of course he was. Party line committee vote. Two questions:
- Sen. Rand Paul continued to state that this was the most transparent investigation in history, and that a password was provided to get access to all the documents, but that no democrats requested the password. Later on, Sen. Gary Peters - the ranking democrat - said that no democrat received any email telling them of this access process, and they were in the dark about the contents of any documents. Anyone know the true story?
- Sen. Josh Hawley continued to emphasize that Fauci even refused to answer innocuous questions such as what color was the rug, or what color was his tie, or what was the day of the week. That seems like a legitimate complaint, and a demonstration that Fauci was not making honest selective judgements about what questions might put him in jeopardy and which were in good faith answerable. What is the legal reason justifying Fauci's refusal to answer even these seemingly "harmless" questions?
And finally, who the hell is voting for Ron Johnson? A stupider bloviating Senator there likely never was, which is saying quite a lot given Tommy Tuberville's equally inexplicable presence.
