What is not being understood by you is that economics is not the issue be raised.

People are complaining about the Constitutionality of the act. Was it a legal act to obliterate everyone abord the boat without due process.

The Constitutionality matters far more than the economics. If the Constitution does not matter, then the economic value doesn't matter either because it can never be assured.
