People have been trying to determine whether or not her 'sex trafficked migrant repeatedly raped in the U.S.' story was a lazy staff error or an RNC research mistake.

Turns out, neither.

Britt has been lying about Karla Jacinto Romero and blaming it on Biden since the time she got to the Senate.

IOW, we have a new frontrunner for the VP slot.

Actually, two more things.

They staged senator Britt in her kitchen because, as senator Tuberville said, she's a "housewife." And they tried to make her kitchen look small and "average" so she could claim to be talking at her kitchen table, just like everyday “real families.”

Turns out she lives in a 6,300 square foot house in Montgomery, Alabama and the sleek, modern, well-equipped high-end kitchen is larger than a lot of Americans' homes.

I don’t understand why they have to make such blatantly false claims, which are so easily debunked, when there have to be examples which are actually true. There have been a few instances of horrible crimes committed by immigrants here illegally. Why not use one of those? Why make up something which 1) didn’t happen in the US, 2) didn’t happen when Biden was President, 3) have nothing to do with the current administration either by history or reality?

Is this some cynical “they’ll believe anything we tell them” thing? I mean, I’m sure that’s true for some portion who live in the bubble, but most people don’t . To get elected they’re going to need some portion of independents to pull the lever - and making up false stories which are widely debunked in the popular media doesn’t seem to be the way to do that.

No? Am I wrong here?

GoofyHoofy: Is this some cynical “they’ll believe anything we tell them” thing?

Yes, exactly. And because it works.

Did you see the Elon Musk tweet of a Photoshopped president Biden placing a Presidential Medal of Freedom around the neck of Jhoan Boada, the man falsely accused of participating in the NY Times Square attack on the two police officers? That tweet now has 34.7 million views.

And you don't need "most people" to believe these lies, just enough to think "Biden is soft on immigration and we're all in danger because of him" and that's enough to make a difference in swing states.

i see this as a trial of whether the repetitive MAGA lies can expand the base in the guise of a calm softspoken WASP mom in a fake working-class kitchen.
based on the response from her fellow GOP, it was a massive flop.

the trump brand is one of anger, grievance, racism, and an incomprehensible lack of self-interest for 99% of the issues around prosperity and liberty.

as for new VP choice, no. looks cloudy with a chance of meatball ron.

weatherman: as for new VP choice, no. looks cloudy with a chance of meatball ron.

Recently, Orange Jesus, after ignoring him for quite some time, has started attacking poor Ron again and people have been wondering why.

Well, the speculation is because of this: DeSantis has been pushing to get documents in the original Jeffrey Epstein case (which was in Florida) released.

Why that would matter to Trump?

Here's why: No public figure was more tightly connected to Jeffrey Epstein than Donald Trump and it was long suspected that Epstein recruited victims at Mar-a-Lago.

You'll also recall that Alex Acosta was instrumental in getting Epstein a ridiculously sweet deal and then, miraculously was given a senior cabinet position in the Trump administration.

So, stay tuned. If DeSantis somehow blocks the release of the Epstein documents, you may be right and he'll be rewarded with the vice presidency.

If not, my money is on Stefanik. (Orange Jesus actually believes he can win New York, a state he lost by about 2 million votes in 2020.)

"We wouldn't be OK with this happening in a third-world country. This is the United States of America, and it's past time we start acting like it," Ms Britt said

Britts is so out of touch with sexual reality it's pathetic. Her religiousity clouds the reality of wealthy/poor sexual relations throughout history.

Americans, and American servicemen in particular, have crossed the borders from Texas to Tijuana to sample the, uh, 'hospitality' of Mexico's ,uh, "entertainment districts."

Long before cartels grew in power, Mexican border towns from Nuevo Leon to Tijuana attracted huge numbers of men from the bases. They flock to the south side of la linea to take advantage of cheap booze in rowdy cantinas as Mexican women fleeced gringo's of dollars, engaging in the world's oldest profession.

Sex trafficking, any non-consensual sex trade, is horrible; deserving of the most severe punishment. But to suggest that United States of America's men (Trump Epstein)aren't okay with prostitution is absurd.
